Borrow from another library

Our library is connected to other libraries throughout the state and nation. If you can't find an item in this library, ask library staff to help you get it from another library.

If you are unable to find exactly what you want in our library, a staff member may be able to find it in another library.  The more information you can give about the item (title, author, ISBN), the better.  We will send out a request for the item, and it will be mailed to us in about 7-10 days.  You will then have three to four weeks to use it before we will have to send it back.  Ask a librarian for more details or fill out this form.

This is a great way to access many specialized items or items that we don't have in our collection.

This resource is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by State Library of Iowa.
